Captains Log
The Sonno have departed Starbase Frontier. We have decided to open up trade with them and they seem eager to have further contact with the Federation and the Klingon Empire.

As for their... effect... It seems that they have some sort of hormone that they were unaware of. Somehow this hormone blocks the ability for others to fall asleep around them. As of yet we do not know the range of this hormone, or how it can be combatted. However we have forwarded our data onto the teams Starfleet Science and Medical. Hopefully they should be able to help with it.

As for the crew on Frontier. The next couple of days should be better. I have ordered everyone to get some rest, I myself intend to catch up on as much sleep as I can. It would seem that even out here, this part of space is full of surprises.

All that being said, I have a date with my pillow...
